hey guys. i recently submitted my applications and i am so worried that i will be rejected to all of my schools. can u tell me wat u think my chances are at these schools? also if anyone is an admissions officer or something that would be great help.

my gpa is 3.28 unweighted and 3.74 weighted ( i know not good)
my sat score is 2010 and 1330/1600
iam a published poet, and i wrote a poem for the additional sectino of the common application. i also play piano and have won awards.
i am trilingual and i was born aborad. i speak russian, hebrew english born in israel.
volunteered at hospital, jcc, libarary

i applied to dartmouth, cornell, upenn, nyu, dickinson college, bucknell, emory, tcnj, and lafayette.. am i guna be rejected to everywhere?

i am no expert, but prolly dartmouth , upenn and cornell are gonna be rejects. But then again you are a published poet, so that might help a lot. I don’t know enough about the other colleges.

i know exactly how you feel! i just found out that i didnt get into my state’s honor college (it was a safety) although i did get into the school. Now im like freaking out.

I totally know what you mean. I applied to nine schools (UArizona, UWashington, Cornell, Tufts, Yale, Dartmouth, UC Berkeley, UMichigan, Brandeis) but so far, I only got into my safeties (U of A, UW). I’m not crazy about those colleges, but to be honest, I’ll just be happy if I can get into UMich. I want my decision already so I can stop stressing. D:

there is like no way u get rejected by all of them. If u just multiply by the probability 0.2*0.4… (chance u won’t get in) etc, the result will be small. Therefore, u are fine!! :D

i hope you know that members of CC are in the top percent of the nation’s high schools and are not an accurate representation of who really gets into these upper level unis. if you have taken ap stats, we are skewed to the right.

One problem is that every one of the colleges you’ve listed gets tons of applications from Jewish guys from New Jersey, most of whom will have higher grades and test scores than you have. Might be time to think outside the box: Denison, Fordham, Va Tech, Pittsburgh.
