Hello. I just took the AP Language and Composition Exam, and I feel I did very well (I'm pretty sure I got a 5). Unfortunately, I was so immersed with the actual writing of the essays that I completely forgot to indicate the "number" of the essay for the last one. Will this have any impact on my score in any way, or will the Collegeboard use the content of my essay to determine which prompt I was writing (I did go in order)?

they will give you a 1.

Did you leave a big gap before the last essay? If you did, maybe they will know it’s the last essay. The least you can get is probably a 3 if you did well on the others. If I were you, I would call CB about this situation.

Talk to your AP Advisor, maybe he/she will let you circle the number before they mail the exams in.
