Scared to apply to stern, help

Hey guys,

I really want to go to NYU, and my parents want me to apply to stern, but I don't want to risk getting into my dream school. Do I have a good chance to stern? And how difficult is the gap from CAS to Stern. I've heard anywhere from only a tiny bit to a 15% less chance. My GPA is 3.6 uw 12 ap's. 2130 sat with pretty strong business EC's. Thanks

There is a significant difference between who is accepted for CAS and who is accepted for Stern (unless you’re an international student, then it’ll be a lot easier for you in general to get in). Your GPA probably could be higher but your SAT score looks okay. Why not take the risk? If you want it badly enough you could at least try.

Why is it a lot easier to get in as an international?

yeah, i’d like to know as well, why is it better if you are international? thanks!

I just want to know my chances for STERN

International Student but American Citizen

GPA. 3.55 UW
Courses: 3 IB High Level, 4 IB Standard Level
SAT 1: 2110
SAT 2: Math 1: 720, Chinese: 790

A lot of extracurricular activities and service. Good recommendations, and started individual business related project.

What are my chances for STERN ED II?

I was always under the impression that it’s harder to get in as an international?
