So yeah. If I end up with these stats, what will my chances be?

Whoops.. I just noticed the "official umich chances thread..". Sorry. Now I feel like an idiot =/

reach with these stats.

Are you for real? I was thinking more of a match...

match definitely.

hmmm
IMO
gpa is low for umich standards (3.8-4.0)
ACT is in the dead middle on the range
and OOS
thats way i said reach.

your gpa and ACT aren't terrible, but the class rank is really bad, Michigan cares a lot about class rank, unless you goto a magnet, it's a reach for you.(LSA)

You stated that you are a dedicated rower.

Although men's rowing is a club sport, not a varsity sport, it could be a good hook for you. You may want to contact the rowing team coaches and see if that will help your chances.

^^Club sport coaches have zero pull. My S was actively recruited by the Men's LAX coach which is a varsity club program, a level above club which receives funding from the U, but not full varsity designation for Title IX reasons. He admitted he had little to no influence with admissions.

Have you contacted the U-M cross country/track coach(s) since you've lettered multiple times and the Captain of both your teams? Are you interested in pursuing intercollegiate athletics?
