Help!!!!!Last week I sent my band teacher an email asking if I could skip 1.5 weeks of band class in exchange for only getting half the credit you'd normally get in school.

The reason I did this was because she had said that people with other morning commitments (our school requires them of some students, and band is in the morning before school starts) more than twice a week could only get half credit for the class. She just instated this new rule, though the commitment situation isn't new at all.

Anyways, I took too many AP classes and began a very time consuming sport this year, and I couldn't really handle waking up so early when I would go to bed at 1-2-3 each night. So I sent her this:

I'm writing about something rather serious about the 2.5 credit deal. Is it only for people with labs? I'm basically dying juggling field hockey, ap classes, and orchestra, as you probably know from my uniform tardies this year so far. Field hockey ends next Friday (the one after this one that's on 10/15) which is probably a cumulative of the missed days for lab people. If administration allows I could rejoin the orchestra after that point and take half credit for the class, that would be most helpful.

Only she hasn't replied. It's been almost a week. I really don't want to have her permanently upset at me, since she's awfully scary to deal with. What should I do to amend the situation? Do I send another email? Halp!
