SCEA 2013 Acceptees - Applying to other schools?

<p>I was admitted friday (i'm still in disbelief) and was wondering whether the rest of yinz that got admitted were applying to other schools? Granted the financial aid has not come yet (I think ill get it in the mail some time this week), so I don't know if I can afford Harvard yet.</p>

<p>I have Dartmouth, Stanford, and Columbia applications all typed up and ready to send and I have a fee wavers, but my friend told me I shouldn't bother to send. What do you guys think? I dont think that it'll hurt or anything and I don't really care whether I'd get into those 3 or not, but I think it would be good in case I can't afford. </p>

<p>Thoughts? Apply to more schools or not?</p>

<p>PS: I am trying really hard to not tell the masses at school as there are many who did not get in, but people are finding out. I could never post it on facebook that sounds too obnoxious. What do you guys think about that as well?</p>

<p>If financial aid is an issue and your other applications are typed up, you might as well send them in.
And If Harvard is your first choice and your financial aid package seems good when you receive it in the winter, you can always withdraw your other applications or just wait until you hear back so you can compare financial aid.</p>

<p>Haha I had the same issue with regards to Facebook…
I thought it was a jerk move to post, so I didn’t. But my friend posted something about it on my wall, so everyone found out that way.</p>

<p>hahaha same thing happened to me… I kept it on my wall for an appropriate period of time (until i received like 10 texts) then deleted. Maybe once people get there regular applications in ill start rocking my H-vard gear.</p>

<p>just submitted yale stanford dartmouth columbia. Watch me get rejected from all 4 lol.</p>
