<p>Does Stanford typically release its SCEA decisions on a Friday afternoon and if so, what time? It says they do it before December 15 so this year will it be Friday, December 14 most likely?</p>
<p>Well I know last year they released it on December 9. I guess that was Friday before the 15, so I’d say it’s pretty common for them to release it like that. Of course I’m just speculating, but decisions will probably be released either the 14 or the 7 (though the 7 seems much less likely).</p>
<p>And it’s inlikely that they’ll come out on say Wednesday the 12th?</p>

<p>GlobalDolphin, the admissions office almost always prefers to release decisions on a Friday, mainly so that people can take a couple of days to digest their decision news before the admissions office reopens. Many schools try to release their RD decisions right before the school closes for spring break for the same reason–they are hoping cooler heads will prevail by the time the office reopens.</p>
