SCEA International Acceptees - post here!

tenniscraze: no one else from UWC got in ea but only 4 of us applied. I think around 10 ppl are applying regular not including the deferrees from ea but I'm really not sure (could be way more).

Damn, you're the only lucky person to be accepted from UWC.... that's an accomplishment for you being in the, arguably, best int'l school in the world... good job :)

thanks. I guess its really just a lottery.

cool, i'm in singapore now btw :)

cool... for how long?

i'm leaving on wednesday for japan.. and then i'm coming back here to singapore after a week for a day, after which i will then depart for hong kong for vacation

Hi everyone....
I just wanted to ask how do you rate National University of Singapore for Engineering...

Everyone at my school...Lahore, Pakistan seems to be applying to NUS as a safety....

So i thought you might be able to give a clear picyure of its +/- points...

Congrats to those accepted...
Good luck to those waiting!!

Cres: I am not completely sure about the info I'm giving you because I'm not really very knowledgeable about NUS and especially not engineering there, but I'll give you my opinion anyway!
NUS is considered quite a good university worldwide (it was ranked in the top 20 or smth in a recent world uni ranking list but I'm not sure how accurate it is). I've also heard from some applicants that their interviews are really hard, and its admissions are quite competitive so I'm not sure if its exactly the best safety school.
On the other hand, I don't htink they get floods of international applicants either so it might increase your chances. I'm relaly quite unclear on NUS tho... just my opinion that its quite a good school. good facilities and loads of links with top universities in the US (so there's some programs where u study in NUS but get a US uni acknowledgement or smth on your degree).

any international students who got aid?
