I recently submitted all of my forms to Stanford SCEA. I was wondering if previous applicants could shed some light as to how Stanford notifies you about your application come mid-december. Do they just send you an email, is there some sort of login they provide, or do we have to (I hope not!) wait for snail mail?

anyone?? I'd like to know this too

im curious too

I think in the past they had an online notification (they email you with how to check, you go to the site and check it) probably followed by a mailed letter...

Snowia had it correct. Admissions decisions were added as a link from the application homepage (this may change now that Stanford is on CommonApp instead of their own system) on a Friday in mid-December. A week or so earlier we were e-mailed with instructions on how to check.

thanks. so, we wait until approx. 1 week before Dec 15 to receive an e-mail with instructions on how to check. How do we verify if anything is missing from our application? Thanks

If anything is missing from your application, they should send notification telling you what you need to add and a deadline.

So, (this has probably been already answered) they don't immediately send any sort of receipt of the app? (cause I sent mine in a couple weeks ago and it says downloaded on the Common App and they haven't sent me an email or anything yet)

nope, just wait until mid november for an e-mail advising if anything is missing
