SHOULD I APPLY THRU QB OR JUST DO YALE SCEA?

not the right forum for this question, go to the QB forum.

Here’s the Questbridge thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-admissions/713451-2009-questbridge-national-college-match-discussion-help.html

Asians are not considered minorities for college admissions purposes, meaning that you won’t receive the substantial advantage in admissions that African American, Native American, and Hispanic applicants receive. Colleges will consider your status as a first-generation college student from a disadvantaged background, however.

At this point, your test scores are very, very low for Yale. [U-CAN: Yale University](ucan-network.org)

I wouldn’t apply with Yale SCEA at this point if I were you. Most people who apply SCEA are among the most qualified students so it’s a tougher application pool. You’re talking about people with like 2100+/34+ on SATs/ACTs average. idk how much you’re studying (I’m trying like crazy lol) but it might be hard to raise your score by that much in a small amount of time. idk about Questbridge tho… but I would wait for RD (vs SCEA). that way you’ll have more time to improve your test scores and the application pool might not be as competitive.
