SCGSSM

I’m currently in 8th grade and I’m wondering what I would have to do to get into SCGSSM

In 7th grade, I took Physical Science Honors and Algebra 1 Honors
Currently, I’m taking World History Honors, Geometry Honors, Biology Honors, and English 1 Honors
I can’t do the GoSciTech Program this summer because I’m taking Algebra 2 Honors, but I’m planning on doing it next summer
The lowest grade I’ve gotten on any quarter for all of my high school courses is a 92
This summer, I’m planning on doing a lot of volunteer work

So far, this is how my schedule will be for ninth grade:
English 3 Honors
World Geography Honors
Precalculus Honors
Chemistry Honors
NJROTC
and two electives (my top choices were Theatre 1 and Law Education)
I’m also taking Spanish 1 accelerated and Spanish 2 accelerated online, so I can take Spanish 3 Honors 10th grade
For ninth grade summer, I’m planning to do GoSciTech and volunteer work

And assuming I make good marks in my classes in ninth grade, my 10th grade schedule will be:
AP Biology
English 4 Honors
(Either AP or Honors) US History
AP Calculus
Physics Honors (If I have the time to double up)
And I have no idea what my electives will be

I’m doing Girls Who Code as of right now, and I’m training to do Cross Country in high school
What should I do that will increase my chances of getting accepted into the Governor’s School for Science and Mathematics?

Thank you

I forgot to add Spanish 3 Honors for tenth grade

I have never heard of this program, so I can’t tell you anything about your chances. However, you are in eigth grade. you shouldn’t be worrying about college or your chances at anything right now. This is not the time to be stressing, just work hard in school and good things will happen. It’s great that you’re determined to succeed , but worrying about college now is only going to be unhealthy now and in the future.

SCGSSM is a public high school in South Carolina. I have moved the thread to Prep School Chances, as it is the closest forum we have for this question.
