Honors Independent Study (it's not a lax class - it's actually a lot of work)</p>
<p>I suck at math (as in, I have trouble even factoring. It's not my fault. I'm a humanities kid!), and trig is adding so much stress to my life.</p>
<p>How will colleges, like UNC, Georgetown, UChicago, UVA view my transcript if I drop down to a normal level trig class, or even a normal level statistics class?</p>
<p>It probably won't really matter with the other APs you have. It would be pretty awesome if you could get AP Calculus in there somewhere, but that doesn't appear to be an option. So if you want to drop to regular trig or regular statistics, go for it. Either one should be fine.</p>
<p>I didn't even know that a transcript showed a drop down if it was before the deadline... I don't think it will matter, but in the UNC-CH info session, they were talking about how they wanted students who challenged themselves in all areas, which I find absolutely ridiculous. I mean why would a student take an honors/AP course in a class they are not interested/talented in? Anyways, you have enough AP courses where it shouldn't matter.</p>
