Schedule Changes

I tried to change my schedule for Fall today because I got a 7:20a.m. Chem class when I did Preview and I really need to change to get a later class, when I went online this morning there are no available sections. Do you think I stand a better chance waiting for a day or two to change or am I stuck with this. Is there a trick to making schedule changes???? Some inside info?? Thanks guys.

i'm having similar problems...during preview the assistants told us to keep checking for open sections a few times or more every day

Yeah, I've been trying to switch both my CHM2045 class [I have it M W F 1st, which is great, but then on Tuesday I have it 8th] and my CHM2045 class because it's 11-E2. Bleh. No luck so far.

Though, I did switch into the exact SYG2000 class I wanted with the teacher I wanted.

You're just going to have to stalk ISIS for a while until a seat opens. There really is no secret to it, just takes patience and luck. For some classes, you can talk to the professor and he/she can squeeze you in the class by talking to the department, but for lecture courses like chem, that won't work. Just keep checking for open sections, you probably won't have any luck during summer. Usually during the first week of school (drop-add period), your chances increase in someone dropping.

Yaaay I got the CHM2045 I wanted. Except, the instructor info is blank [when I look up what textbooks I need]. I hopehopehope it's not Horvath.

Still no luck on the lab.

Chem classes are SO hard to get into once there full. I hate it. But, during drop/add seats are bound to open as people decide they'd rather take something else or something. Good luck! :)

we can change our schedules now????

what happens if we add a class but are unable to find a lab section open?

how important is the SLS class for business majors? i know my advisor stressed that it was important for ppl in warrington to take it.....but I'd rather take a gen ed course.

I'm just about to turn in a college transcript to prove that I completed a dual enrollment course. How likely will it be that I'll be able to get MAC2311 after I turn that in? As of now, there aren't any openings. :(

..I'm waiting for a CHI1130 opening as well. D:

there's one spot left for chi 1130 but it's for honors. =( i'm still waitin for chi1130 too

Yeah, that spot's been there for a while. I just want non-honors CHI1130..! Hopefully a spot opens up during period 4, 5, or 6 for me. Hope you get in too. ):

Ugh, I keep rechecking every few minutes to see if a CHM2045 lab opens up. Hopefully I get lucky one of these days, it is driving me insane!

ubiquity - my D took the SLS class for business majors because it was a prerequisite for the Florida Leadership Academy. It was a lot of work for 2 credits but nothing too difficult and she thought the resume that they get you to create during the class was very useful. Also, if you turn your work in....you get an A for the class. Good deal.

okay thanks! =)

no, the lab has to be taken with the actual course
