Schedule conflict: AP Calc BC vs AP Chem

(I am currently a Junior...Senior to be)
Basically I've had a schedule conflict recently where my guidance counselor told me both Honors Latin 4 and AP Physics are running in the same period. He asked me which one I want to take and I choose Latin seeing that there's no substitute for a foreign language now, but I could substitute AP Chemistry for AP Physics.
As of right now I am scheduled for AP Chemistry.

HOWEVER, after some thought I decided that since I am going into computer science I might as well take something that will be at least be near the field. I am thinking about taking AP Calc BC as a second math class for my senior year (The first is AP Comp Sci)
(also, I did take Calc AB this Junior year)
Taking Calc BC would mean that I would not take AP Chem and hence not have any science credits for senior year. BUT I already have 4 years of science because I have taken 2 science classes this year.

Should I take the more desirable and applicable class of Calc BC and not have any science classes senior year? (even though I have my 4 years of science done)

For CS - AP Calc is probably more useful but either should work.

BC Calc will certainly be easier for you – the first half of the year is basically a review of AB Calc, so if you did well last year, you’ll be able to focus on other classes and still be well assured of an A during the crucial mid-year grading period (your grade after acceptance won’t be as critical).

AP Chemistry, by contrast, can be a tricky beast because success relies on being good at two very different skill sets: you have to be able to do calculations very well, but you also need to have a good memory to keep all the naming conventions and special rules straight. This can make the class very time-consuming and take away from your ability to do well in other classes.

^ Well put, thank you

I’m pretty sure I will go to Calc BC, I just thought I should hear from others. I’m glad I did because this only solidifies my decision :)
