next year if I want to be the new editor for my school newpaper, I will have to drop the IB Diploma, and vice versa. What do you think is more important…IB Diploma, or being news editor of one of the best high school newspapers in the country?

Man, I was in a dilemma like you last year. I had to chose between Baseball I or AP Computer Science, both being things I liked and wanted to do. Fortunately, I could compromise and do baseball after-school and be on the team. Could you perhaps work out a compromise or is it one of those situations where it's "being in the class or tough luck."

My advisor said that I can be on staff and woerk afterschool. However, to be the news editor, I have to be in the class. I am trying my best to get some kind of comporomise

Another thing would be to take English at SL next year, and take Latin at HL. I have a B in English this year (second highest grade in class). I was thinking if I take English SL the Adcoms might think that I thought the HL was too hard for me.

I am porbabbly gonna end up taking SL or dropping the diploma.
