Ok, so I just got accepted to write for my school's paper (yay!) but there is a scheduling conflict: we meet up on Mondays at 6pm...I have class from 6-9pm on Mondays! I think I told them that briefly during the interview but they must have forgotten. On their letter, it said it's mandatory so that makes me nervous! I really don't want to skip my class but I don't want to get kicked off the paper because of this dumb conflict. Sorry, i'm like freaking out right now, and I know this isn't the place to come to but...do you think they'll throw me off the staff because I can't make it to the mandatory Monday meetings?? I emailed the chief editor and explained my situation asking if I can come before or come meet up on another time/day...but I haven't gotten a response, yet! I'm so nervous! Gah! I worked hard to get on the paper and now my chance to write for it jeopordized. Am I freaking out too much??? Ugghhh...

All you can really do is wait for a response. I doubt they’ll kick you off the paper.

That is one thing I am hating about night classes, there are all of the meetings and whatnot at nights on weekdays… and I have classes conflicting with almost every one.

But really, nothing you can do but wait.

Damn, I’m losing a lot of sleep because of this. :/
