I was recently informed that I would not be able to take honors physics next year, as the only available class coincides with my orchestra period. I plan to move on to further studies in the math and sciences in university, so I really want to get AP physics in the year after (honors physics is a required prereq - no other options). Would it look bad if I didn't take AP physics if I'm going for a top university, in the science field? Or would it be better to keep orchestra (either way, I would still play my instrument, in school or not)
