Schedule conflicts

We don't usually do 2 run-throughs in one day, but a couple years ago we had to because the set was so complex it took until two days before opening night just to complete it. And the director wanted multiple runs with the complete set, so... we did.

And yeah, next week is show week for me, but this is school vacation, so I think next week is going to be horrific, especially considering we're all working with a new director whose ideas are totally wacky (like projecting images onto screens at random points in the show) and the show is so depressing anyway (it's about the Holocaust) that it's hard to get excited about it. Our opening night is also Thursday (not the usual Friday), and actors don't have rehearsal on Tuesday because it's a tech day, so we actually only have two rehearsals before the show. It's just frustrating at this point because some people just aren't playing their roles correctly (e.g. one guy is completely soulless and robotic, even when we were all told to be three-dimensional and human), and there's no time to fix all of the problems. I hope we pull off a miracle next Thursday.

^^ We do that when our director freaks out. The bad part is that we have to be there before AND after the actors. >.<
