schedule course load??

Hmmm, hesitant to make a recommendation without really knowing you and your situation in full. But here I go anyway ;):

ballin' - aren't you already into your spring semester of freshman year? so isn't this already decided?

If not and you are looking ahead to your freshman year, and planning an Engineering major, I would recommend doing the science/math/Engineering stuff in fall/spring. Save the Composition/Rhetoric for summer if you want to lighten your load somewhat. Keep it in the fall/winter schedule and use the summer for making $$ if you don't feel the need to lighten your load.

Reason: when you submit your apps, the schools will see your winter transcript and grades, as well as the courses you have registered in for spring (they'll see your summer plan, too, probably... but it won't be as noticeable). Most important, imo, to show that you have the core science/Engineering courses underway.

fwiw, this is what my S did - calc/physics/chem/programming/intro to Engineering/poli sci elective in fall/spring. English/writing intensive in summer.
Worked for him - accepted to almost all transfer schools including some highly selective.

Good luck.

thanks a lot for useful info. so what you're saying is that i should take English(piece of cake) in summer. That would mean i have all 4 credit courses in fall semseter. i originally planned that too. by the way i'am a high school senior.
