Schedule Dilemma!

ok, i recently found out that there is a huge problem with my schedule where i will probably have to choose between AP classes and my extracurricular activities. I think I may have come up with a way to fix this problem, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea or not.

Current Schedule:
1-Algebra III
2-Psychology
3-APUSH
4-AP Biology
5-AP U.S. Government
6-Debate IV(honors weight)
7-AP English 12

The problem with this is that I need to take newspaper because I am an editor, and it is ONLY offered 3rd hour and APUSH is ONLY offered 3rd hour as well. So I could possibly take Journalism I 2nd hour and do my work then, but I have already taken that class. My other conflict is that Debate is only 6th hour, as is Drama Production. I could possibly take Competitive Speech 5th hour and Drama Production 6th hour and just work on debate in 5th hour( my teacher would let me do this), but my parents think it would make me look like I quit debate and that i am flaky.

So, my schedule if I were to do this would be something like this:
1-Algebra III
2-Journalism I
3-APUSH
4-AP Biology
5-Competitive Speech
6-Drama Production
7-AP English 12

So, my question is whether or not this would be a good idea? Or maybe should I do part of that instead of ALL of the changes? Any input would be extremely appreciated! Thanks!

buuuuuuuuuump! i need advice!

you are taking 7 classes as a senior? wow, i'm impressed. Well it looks like you need to give up psychology for newspaper. The second schedule look okay. May be you should go with that. But why are you taking journalism, drama, and debate? are you planning to major in writing or english? There's nothing wrong with that except that you have 3 electives and it's all in one field. Your school doesn't offer debate as a club?

Yea, at my school pretty much ALL extracurricular activities like drama,debate,newspaper/yearbook, and athletics are classes that you are pretty much required to take if you want to participate. Basically my school sucks at life.

Why do you need Drama Production? Have you taken it before? If you're in a higher-level debate class, it seems obvious that you'd continue with that..especially in your senior year.

I took Drama I last year, which is kind of like Intro to Drama or whatever. I really want to do both though because I am very interested in Drama, as well as debate.
