1995, a lot of students get a gpa higher than 3.0 and get rejected from Kelley. You need, for guaranteed admission, all solid B’s and higher and to take the minimum required courses to get into Kelley in order to get guaranteed acceptance. [Current IU Students: Undergraduate Program : Kelley School of Business: Indiana University](<a href=“Undergraduate | Bachelor's Degree in Business | Indiana Kelley”>Undergraduate | Bachelor's Degree in Business | Indiana Kelley) From that standpoint, you already have a strike against you with your B- in ACP calculus. Which calculus is that? Obviously it would be less of a strike if it is M211 or higher rather than M119.

Among the requirements to get into Kelley as a standard admit are

◦One course on the IU Bloomington campus from each of the following areas: ■Business Analysis (BUS-A 201, BUS-A 202, BUS-L 201, ECON-E 201, ECON-E 202, BUS-K 201, or BUS-X 201)
■Mathematics (MATH-M 118, MATH-M 119 or ECON-E 370)
■Communication (BUS-C 104, BUS-C 204 or ENG-W 131)

◦One additional course on the IU Bloomington campus in any of the areas above, for a total of four Kelley admissions courses.

Notice that is doesn’t say anything about a 3.0+ gpa. You want all solid B’s and higher.
I am guessing that Kelley will count your B- in calculus as having been taken on the IU Bloomington campus. At least, it probably appears that way on your transcript. You should check your transcript in Onestart to see where it says you took calculus. If your B- in calculus counts toward the four classes needed to apply to Kelley, then you might want to consider not taking finite. I think K201 in fall and X201 in spring would be easier grading than adding finite to your schedule. This advice is based on how many students got a solid B or higher in finite, K201, and X201.

Last fall semester, 49% (993/2019) of the students who took K201 got a solid B or higher; in Spring, 67% (415/616) got a solid B or higher in X201.

Compare that to M119 and M118 last fall and spring:
M118 fall – 1635/4100 40%
M118 spring – 524/2039 26%
M119 fall – 513/1982 26%
M119 Spring – 338/1313 26%

Also, next spring I would take C104, as it is a very easy B. You might stay away from W131 until after getting accepted to Kelley, as probably nearly all of the W131 teachers are graduate students and some of them have very unrealistic expections and grade harshly.

Since you live in Indiana, know that Ivy Tech offers classes that can substitute for W131, L201 Business Law, Finite, both intro econs, and calculus-- some of which you already have credit for.

I don’t know all your goals, but you could just take only 12 credits per semester this fall and spring and easily have enough credits to apply to Kelley. Much less stressful than 16 or so per semester. Also, you probably want to get some A’s to help compensate for the B- on your transcript, which will probably appear as having been taken on the Bloomington campus on your transcript. My son did W131 in high school ACP, and the course was listed as being taken in Bloomington even though it was taken at his high school.
