Schedule for future engineer?

I’m a sophomore and i’m interested in majoring in some type of engineering in college. Can anyone give me advice for my schedule? I’m estimating what it will look like, note that we don’t have AP Physics C.

11th Grade
First Semester:
Precalculus Honors
American History 1 Honors
Band
AP Physics 1
AP Stats

Second Semester:
AP Calculus AB
AP Lang (Online)
AP Physics 1
Band
AP Stats

12th Grade:
First Semester:
AP Calculus BC
American History 2 Honors
Band
AP Physics 2
AP Comp Sci

Second Semester:
(Figuring out what to take 1st period)
AP lit (Online)
AP Physics 2
Band
AP Comp Sci

Only 5 courses at a time? Is this a school where each course is double size so that a semester course is like a year at most schools? (But the AP physics and some other courses are not consistent with that.)

I think many freshman engineering programs require a " Chemistry for Engineers" course. Have you taken any chemistry? If you know which colleges you may be interested in, take a look at their current degree plans to see what courses will be taken freshman year. Also look at their AP credit charts to see which classes (if any) they give credit for. Have you taken any foreign language?

The big omissions to me are chem and your foreign language.

I’m taking chemistry right now, and I have already completed 3 years of foreign language

I assume you have taken Bio and Chem.

11th grade you are taking three Math courses, History, AP Lang, AP Physics, Band . Why take AP Stats? You don’t need 3 (or even 2) math classes.
What about a foreign language? You should try to get to level 4 of a language.

12th grade: Why more american history? Do you have to do this? Why not AP Psych or Economics or something like that?

Why are some classes only 1 semester and others 2 semesters?
