Schedule for Senior Year

Hi everyone! I have a sort of dilemna that only people on CC would understand.

My school does not offer a ton of APs, but I have taken advantage of all of the honors/APs available to me, and at my school, I have taken probably the most rigorous course level. Not to bore you, but:

Freshman Year
French I (H)
Spanish I (Standard)
English 9 (H)
Algebra II (H)
Science (H)
Health (S)
Study Hall (I didn't know better...)
Gym
World History (H)

Sophomore Year
Biology (H)
French II (H)
Pre-AP U.S. History (counted as H)
Geometry (H)
Health Careers (S)
Gym
Spanish II (H)
Pre-AP English 10

Junior Year
Chemistry (H)
AP U.S. History (4 on test)
AP English (5 on test)
Trigonometry/Advanced Algebra (H)
Independent Study, Spanish III (H)
French III (H)

For senior year, I am definitely taking:
AP Calculus
French IV (H)
AP English
Physics (H)
AP Spanish (through an online class)

I have another period available for classes, so my question is...should I stick with the class I have scheduled, a full year, honors statistics class? I do not plan on majoring in math, but the class is honors and I can guarantee a good grade.

Or should I take publications for the first half of the year and sociology for the second half? Both are standard, but they show some variety and I am very interested. I might major in journalism or English.

Also, I'm taking AP Spanish online, but the head of the language department suggested I take Spanish IV at my school...the problem is, it's at the same time as French IV, and there's only one class of each. I was put into an independent study for Spanish, so should I push my luck and ask not to take the class? The department head wanted me to take the class at my school to help with the oral part of the course, but I won't be getting much speaking practice alone, will I?

My independent study is scheduled for third period (not the same time as sociology and publications), but I should be able to find some academic electives to fit in.

Sorry for the long-winded thread. But I seem to bore my friends and parents when I bring up these issues.

Thanks!

stick with the classes you have
take the extra class; it'll show you're diverse in languages and are eager to put in more time for these things
you're schedule overall is pretty advanced; good luck!

Well, for your question of whether to take the honors statistics course or two courses that you are interested in, I say take the stuff you're interested in! I mean, your schedule already shows that you have taken the most rigorous courses available to you. Explore your interests!
