schedule for sophmore year

Im on the road to be a musician.
Just incase that doesnt happen, Im preparing to be a music teacher.
For next year, im signed up for a half year of Music Theory.
Marching Band, for one quarter and Symphony Band for the following three.
Is this good enough, or should i take out the half year study hall and fill it with something. The only problem is that this year, i did not have a study hall, and my grades seemed to drop a bit.
Any suggestions??

Thanks,
Madii

I think that looks good. It definitely shows your passion for music. Sophomore year is actually so much harder than freshman year (at least, in my case) and if you couldn't manage that well w/o a study hall this year, you probably will need one more than ever next year. Take the study hall.

You can always fill your ECs with music related things on your own time if you want.

I'm a musician, too, and music classes can really overwhelm your school schedule.
I ended up dropping school classes and am doing musical stuff around my community, like small ensembles, in addition to my lessons.
It's nice, even if it only means not lugging a huge instrument case to school every day now.

music is a passion of both willys duvolls and matt "sqaunto" rosenthals-- soph year is much harder-- so unless ur good at music- dont sacrafice grades for it
