Hi everyone! I haven't been on this website in MONTHS. Anyway, I'm a freshman currently and am working on registering for 10th grade classes.

Here's my plan:
AP US History
AP Stats
Pre-AP English
Honors Chem
Spanish
Health (required to graduate)
DECA

My question: Does this seem like a manageable schedule for a sophomore? How hard are APUSH and AP Stats? This year (freshman year) I'm taking one AP class (APHG- yes, I know this is the easiest AP class) and H. Algebra 2. I have maintained straight As and am first in my class, so I could definitely handle more work.

It seems pretty reasonable but it honestly depends on your teachers. I know people taking 4-6 APs having an easier time than people taking 2 APs because of teachers.

Anime- I’m taking ap stats because my math teacher said that I probably want to take ap calc my senior year, that way it would be fresh in my mind for college.

It just seems really weird because if you’re going to take Calc after Stats, there’d be a very big time gap from pre-Calc to Calc and you’re probably gonna have to catch yourself up a lot.

I’d change it to :
AP World History/AP econ (APUSH is realllyy hard)
Honors Precalc (calc path is better)
Pre-AP English
Honors Chem
Spanish
Health (required to graduate)
DECA

If you aren’t a history major, take AP history courses on the basis of the teachers. I’d recommend Calc path unless you’re going into statistic-related research. Also, in my experience, a one-year gap between math classes isn’t as hard as many think it is.

That sounds fine to me - it’s similar to what I took, and I didn’t have much difficulty managing my classes with my EC’s (which I put much more effort into than in academics). I agree with changing your math course. At my school, at least (then again I have no idea what things are like at other schools), AP Stats has a reputation of being a senior slacker class.
