I have never taken the SAT IIs before. How does the schedule work for the tests and how long is each one?

I'm taking Chemistry and Mathematics 2.

thanks

Knowing what is going to happen is probably a good idea.

You will have a bunch of people enter into classrooms, and be assigned a seat (most likely) to sit in. You will get this HUGE book with every subject test in it. They will also give you an answer booklet. Basically they let you take whatever you want because all of the tests (at least the non-listening ones .. not sure abt those) are 1 hr. They will tell you to bubble in a code corresponding to the test you are taking, and then you are ready to go. Note that you can use a calculator on Math 2, but not on Chemistry (all of the math is relatively simple). Then you will have a 5 min break or so. And repeat (Up to 2 more times, so 3 test total). You leave the room when you have finished all of your tests.
If you feel you did poorly you can cancel your scores. However, it’s an all or nothing deal (that is, if you cancel math, you cancel Chemistry), so be careful. Keep in mind you can add subject tests (or delete them) the day of the test if you feel uncomfortable.
Good luck! It’s very similar to an SAT I testing (except no writing response) except a few little tweaks. Good luck!
