Schedule got messed up, am I in trouble?

(not really sure if this is the right forum, if not please tell me where to post this)

So, I'm a high school junior this year. I'm doing the IB program at my school, and I had set up a two year plan to make sure I would get all my IB credits, etc. Well, everything got screwed up when I received my class schedule for this year.

I was supposed to be taking IB French, IB Chemistry, and five other IB classes.
It turns out the French class shares the same period as the Chemistry class, and so I was given only the french class, and to substitute for IB Chemistry, the school gave me PE.

I asked my counselor about the situation, and she says that since there is only one class for both french and chemistry, I have to just stick with one. Not only that, but when I asked if I could switch from PE to something more interesting (I already got my PE credits anyway), PE is the only class that is still available in that period.

How bad will this look in a college application? I don't know if I'm blowing this out of proportion, but I just kind of figured that they would dislike seeing a student take gym twice, instead of another ap class or something.

Please tell me you’re not attempting 7 subjects. That’s beyond insanity. Take 6. Nobody takes 7 and comes out human.

This won’t screw you over for admissions. Doing the IB Diploma is in and of itself about as rigorous as it gets. Further, if you feel it’s necessary, you can explain this scheduling issue in the additional information section on your applications.
