Schedule Help for Future Junior

Pre-College Issues High School Life

Currently a sophomore deciding on classes for my junior year. No AP classes this year, but I do have Honors Sophomore English, Honors World History and Chemistry. I’m planning to take pre-calc over the summer.

How does this sound for junior year?

AP American History
AP English Lang & Composition
AP Calculus AB
AP Physics 1
Spanish 3
Computer Science/Computer Graphic Arts/Psychology and Sociology

I think I’ll be ready for physics and calculus, as math has always been my strongest subject. AP American History is the one I’m the most on the fence about. I’ve heard good and bad things about it.
I think I’ll be ready for the workload of 4 AP classes, as I’m always up to date on my assignments.

APUSH has a heavy workload but it’s manageable.

AP Lang is easy to some people, but to others it’s a bit of a struggle depending on if you’re a good writer or not. Either way it’s helpful for future essays in college.

AP Calc AB, I think, is easier than pre-calc. I don’t even know why they call it pre-calc because the only things we bring over are trig functions and…

AP Physics people say is hard in my school but that’s just because we have a horrible physics teacher. You should be fine.
