I wouldn’t wait so long to take AP Biology after Pre-AP. It would be the most beneficial if you took one after the other so that the information is generally still in your head. I took AP Biology the year after Honors Biology, and I’m really glad that I did. (My sister waited a couple of years like you’re planning to, and she ended up taking herself out of it. She really regrets waiting.)

@awakeningvenus‌ ok thanks! I don’t have any room on my 10th grade year but I can trade AP bio for AP chem and take bio junior year. Would that make any difference?

@hcampo‌ If you’d have to postpone AP Chemistry, I wouldn’t worry about it. You’d end up with the same problem. Although, it wouldn’t hurt to look back at the material summer before you take AP Biology to bring some of it back.
