We are currently registering for next years classes and I will be a senior. We pick 6 classes and i have a definite 4:
AP Calc AB
AP Physics C: Mechanics
Honors English 12: British Literature
GT Tech Intern
I have to take an economics course as senior.
Should I take AP Econ Macro/Micro and AP European History or Standard Economics and AP Euro.
Is 4 APs too many?
How interested are you in economics? If as a responsible stuyou don’t see it as useful I wouldn’t recommend taking it at the AP level. 4 APs isn’t too many, and it can be done, but keep in mind that your schedule will probably have a lot of work anyway (readings for Euro, studying and understand concepts for Calc and Physics), so it might do you better to relax your senior courseload a bit if you want. After all, it will be the year you apply for colleges, and you will generally want to have a lot more on your mind than just trying to finish AP Econ. Colleges will already see your AP courses as rigorous and won’t punish you for not having just one more. You’ll have already proven yourselfdent.
