<p>I picked up my course schedule today for my senior year in high school and found out that I could not take both Physics AP and English 4 AP because they conflict with one another. If I am applying to Dartmouth as an engineering student would it be better to take Physics Pre-AP/English 4 AP or Physics AP/English 4 on-level. Would it be better to show that I am a math and science person and choose the latter? However, I took English 3 AP and do not want it to look like I am slacking by taking regular English 4. What is more important to Dartmouth and/or admissions...any advice is appreciated.</p>
<p>Take whatever interests you most, and explain to Dartmouth that you could not have taken both. There should be a section on the common app for comments like that. They’ll understand.</p>
