Schedule meeting with Admissions Counselor?

We were at RH a few months ago and did the tour & info session, then several days later did the tour only at LC. We met a woman from the LC graphic design department but no one from admissions. Is it possible to reach out to a person there for an interview? Early June is the only time we’ll be in NYC between now and the application deadlines.

We’ve met some admissions guys from LACs who said they advocate more strongly for people who’ve made the effort to meet them, even if the rubric says that interviews aren’t important. The Fordham Common Data Set says that interviews are not considered but student interest is.

Elizabeth Brosseau is our area rep. I bet her office is in RH and this is moot.

Does Fordham welcome this contact? It’s probably the 1st choice school.

I’m pretty sure that Fordham doesn’t do interviews, but it doesn’t hurt to try and get in touch with them if you are interested. The admissions officers are usually available to chat after tours, too, so you can probably make an appointment to ask them some questions.

@curiositysquared - I didn’t think so either until I saw “considered” on the table.

By student interest I think the schools means visiting/touring the college, getting on the mailing list, going to a presentation if an admissions officer does one near where you live etc. That is different from an interview.

SORRY- I was looking at Barnard!
