<p>So someone showed me once you could click and see what food was being served in the dorm dining halls for the day. Anyone know where this site is? I need to bookmark it so I can find out where/when sushi is being served ASAP.</p>

<p>They're not that great if you're into the commercialized/Americanized stuff here, but still better than the stuff at those Chinese buffets. :D Sushi is one of the better Asian items they serve at the dining halls. Orange chicken and what not are terrible at the dining halls. Rendezvous has the best Asian food on the Hill...</p>
<p>They only serve "California Rolls." The menu claims to have "Spicy Shrimp" or whatever, but they never have it.</p>

<p>Rendezvous so does not have the best Asian food...unless you like gross semi-Asian food. Rendezvous's Mexican side is wayyy better.</p>

<p>rendezvous's asian food isnt HORRIBLE, but obviously not as good as the REAL stuff (its a notch or two below Panda Express, which is still not "real" asian food). still better than dining hall asian food. theyre supposed to add sushi and bento boxes to the asian menu for this year. we'll see soon enough. :)</p>

<p>I'd say it's like half a notch below or about the same as Panda when Rendezvous is at its best. It can be very inconsistent, especially the orange chicken. The chow mein is a bit too soggy as well.</p>
<p>And isn't Panda Express started by a Chinese guy? For what it's worth, it actually tastes better than quite a few of those Chinese-operated Chinese fast food places. Even Rendezvous does better than some of these.</p>
<p>But yes, cannot wait to see the additions they have this year. I could only imagine how small those portions will be considering that the servings are small enough already. At least they have Asian people as chefs/helpers/manager.</p>

<p>never heard that one. i just checked the menus and it looks like about once a month they serve sushi on mondays for lunch. thursdays is every week like clockwork.</p>
