As of now, I will finish at my CC with 67 credits. Most private universities I've looked into say not to go too far over 60 credits. Still, there are some recommended courses that I haven't taken and I don't want to look lazy. So far, I've taken:

History I
Government I
Calculus I
History II
Government II
Calculus II
Economics I
Calculus III
English I
Business Speech
Accounting I
Accounting II
English II Honors
Economics II
Biology I
Chamber Singers

And plan on taking the following next semester:

Biology II
Differential Equations
Statistics
BCIS

I've taken all required courses. Georgetown recommends applicants take Philosophy, Sociology, and English Lit. It also has many other recommended courses that I've already taken. Cornell recommends applicants take Physics I. The only other course Cornell recommends is Statistics, and it's already on the list. So I'm basically wondering:

1) Is my schedule next semester going to be too tough to add another class?

2) If not, what class should I take?

I'd really prefer to never take English Lit :D and save Philosophy and Sociology for wherever I transfer. I'm more interested in taking Physics here, but am not sure if it would all be too much.

Business Computer Information Systems.

Have to take for UT :(

Hmm...well I guess I decided to go Chuck Norris on everyone and take Physics as well. I think my transcript is lacking in the science department as of now...add to that the fact that I just received my first B in my first science class (Biology I) and I think I need to beef it up with regards to science. Since Physics is so math-oriented, I think it'll be easier for me than memorizing all those damned biological processes.

I DON'T GIVE A **** WHERE ATP COMES FROM!

:D

Yeah, but your Mom did last night.

And your Mom also didn't care too much about angular momentums. Which means no physics.

lol and the funny thing is, no idea what angular momentums are.

come on now...your mom jokes? Only a UH student

Edit: How's the essay for Washington coming?

Oh, that.

All I finished were my UT essays. I'm in this PriceWaterhouseCoopers internship right now, so I haven't start doing any work yet.

Yeah...how's yours? Let's get an email essay edit routine going.

Oh wow wish I had an internship!

I just started mine actually...but they don't take long to get the main draft down. Then it's just a matter of fixin it up. We will have to exchange essays eventually so I can steal your ideas. :D

ok I'm really thinkin of adding Psychology to my schedule AS WELL.

So it would be like:

Statistics
Diff Eq.
Bio II
Physics I
BCIS (online from HCC)
Psychology

That's a badass schedule, but is it too much? I just figure if I can handle that, I'll be able to handle 4 or 5 classes a semester whenever I transfer to a more difficult school.

Yeah, except you should remember that Bio II is more studying than Bio I. Considering that the Bio I was a result of not focusing enough on Bio, I think taking DEQ and Physics might force you away from Bio.

Psych is fluffy. Don't worry about it. =)

Yeah the 'B' in Bio I was a result of bad circumstances. My parents planned a vacation to Colorado that we had to go on in the middle of the semester...in Bio, we had labs EVERY NIGHT (literally) and then had two lab practicals in the semester which counted like test grades. There was no way to study for them - you were either there for the lab or you didn't know the answers on the practical. So I did pretty awful on one LP and then did bad on an actual test (result of improper cramming :D ) so I was basically screwed.

I'll be sure to study much harder in Bio II and not go on any vacations...unless I'm accepted to WUSTL, in which case f*** Bio I'm in and I'm going to visit!!

That's good to hear about Psych...I kinda figured it was an easy one, so I won't be too worried then. Anyone on Collegeconfidential taken a BCIS class? I'm wondering how tough it'll be.

Statistics - 2ez
Diff Eq. - easier than verifying stokes or so I've heard
Bio II - lots of work?
Physics I - for engineers?
BCIS (online from HCC) - sounds easy
Psychology - 2ez

that's good to hear about Diff Eq. I wasn't sure what to expect. I checked the class status yesterday and there are 34 seats available, 1 person enrolled (that's me :D ) God I hope they don't cancel it b/c not enough ppl can take it.
