Hey guys,
I have a schedule dilemma

I am debating on whether or not to take AP Physics, since I want to go to an 8 year medical program, and I have heard college physics is insanely challenging.
However, in order to do this, I would have to quit journalism, and I might be selected to be editor of my high school paper.

Which choice would be better for a 8 year medical program? Thanks so much!

my suggestion -- if you are selected as editor, keep taking journalism. I assume you will be senior next year -- could you take regular physics? or could you take it as a community college class or online?

physics would be great to have before going to college and the colleges like to see that you have taken it if possible.

if you don't get to take it in high school, most colleges offer physics at an easy level for those whose high school education was lacking. What it means is that you would take the easier physics class before taking the hard one (or sometimes you have an option to audit the hard one for one semester and then take it for credit the second semester).
