Hey guys,

Not sure if this is a problem, but kinda freaking out about it...

I currently 4 courses scheduled(not including cohort) for stern.

1.WTE
2.Microecon
3.Calc1
4.Natural science

Unfortunately I didn't pick either a texts and ideas or cultures and contexts class. I believe both are required for the MAP requirement.

I know for sure that next semester I will be taking the 6 credit Stats course, along with the required writing.

Unfortunately, does this mean I need to take both C&C and T&I next semester?

Any suggestions?

Please help. I'm seriously concerned. :(

Its not a problem. Most students take either WTE and C&C together, or T&I and C&C together. You just won’t be able to take an elective.

Ahh i see, so that means i should have about 18 credits, which is still covered by fin aid right?

yea, it is covered.

You have to be over 16 credits to be covered by financial aid. If you go over 18 you get charged extra, but you don’t lose your financial aid.

Traveler, do you mean at or over 16 credits? I have 16 scheduled this semester, and was covered.

yea, you’re solid if you have 16 creds. Actually, if you want to be technical, you need to have AT LEAST AN AVG of 16 credits. Meaning, one semester you can have 14, if you have 18 the next. Talk to your counselors about this, I have never tried it myself.

thanks for clearing this up guys!
