Schedule Question

I am a senior in a public high school, I was looking for some feed back on how competitive my senior year schedule is for colleges such as Emory and Wash U. Some people have told me that this schedule is not difficult enough and that I should consider switching some of my classes. I wanted to find out whether this was true.

AP Language and Composition
AP Psychology
AP Human Geography
AP Art History
AP Environmental Science
AP Level English Independent Study – Classical Mythology
Honors Journalism IV

It’s perfectly good. Plenty of AP’s. Don’t worry about it.

^No need to respond. He’s just trying to show off his schedule.

i was not trying to show off my schedule, I felt that it was a legitimate concern because i have no math classes and I have been told that the ap classes which I am taking are not known to be the most rigorous. For example i think that there is a huge difference between my schedule and for example one that includes AP Bio, AP Chem, AP BC Calc, etc. I just wanted to find out if this was a legitimate concern and how colleges viewed schedules…

OP: You can also take bsmd’s remark as a compliment , because your schedule is very good. A Science and Math course in every year is helpful, but it’s your choice, so don’t vary your classes based on colleges. If you are interested in a specific subject, then take classes in that subject. That being said, it is a very competitive schedule with or without AP Bio AP Calc , etc
