Can someone give me a general idea of a ideal schedule for freshman year? I hear a lot of people take biology and chemistry their first year and then take organic chemistry and physics during their second year. Can someone advise me on what classes I should take during my first year?

Didn't you just say it? Intro bio and gen chem freshman year and orgo/physics sophomore year.

you basically did just say it, although it varies depending on the school.

For example,
my school has 3 core bio classes that all the premeds take, so we can't finish bio until the end of our sophmore year. That makes things a little trickier when it comes to finishing pre-reqs within two years.

However, if your school's intro classes are only two course sequences, then the schedule norcalguy just said would be ideal.
