Schedule Restrictions

Ok so Im in a bit of a pickle. My schedule for the year so far is
AP History
Religion (all CP no options on that one)
H French 3
H Anatomy
H Trig/Pre-calc
AP Lang
SAT prep (

I wish I could take more AP classes, but there are all these elements of scheduling that keep me from it. Religion isn’t something I can change. H French 3 is just where I’m at, CE French is offered senior year. H Anatomy is an elective, and the other elective available are CP Psych and AP stats, but AP stats doesn’t fit in my schedule (so I’m taking it next year). H Trig/Pre-Calc is just where I’m at. and yeah thats it. I couldn’t do CE Chem because if I do CE Chem then I can’t AP bio next year because physics is required. I wanted to do CE physics this year but I can’t take that without taking AP calc which I’m taking next year. I had the idea of taking AP bio, but by then it was mid summer and my administration wouldn’t let me take it cause of the summer work (plus its typically given to seniors). So here I am taking 2 APs when I really feel as if I could be pushing myself more but my schedule just doesn’t allow it.

Also I can’t just drop the SAT prep because my lab interferes with is and they don’t really allow labs to interfere with a class cause you’d be missing a day each week but they made an exception this time for SAT prep cause c’mon its SAT prep

It is what it is. Schedule conflicts happen all the time, and colleges are well aware of it. Additionally, all colleges understand that a HS graduation requirement trumps student desire. Every single student in a Catholic school is taking religion, so you will be at no disadvantage.

Have you taken Bio, Chem and Physics? Don’t worry about the number of APs…worry about getting all your sciences in.

Oh yeah its no issue really. I’ve taken honors bio freshmen year, and i took Chem last year and I’m taking physics this year. But the truth is I really can’t do anything about it just gotta do what i gotta do
