Schedule selection help. 5 APs.

<p>Hey everyone, I'm a sophomore in HS and we are in the process of filling out the selection sheets for next year. This is my current schedule.</p>

<p>English-II-H
Geometry-H
Sports & Entertainment Marketing
Biology-H
AP US History
Cisco-H
French II
Chemistry-H</p>

<p>My weighted GPA is a 4.43</p>

<p>There are a lot of options that interest me for next year, and they're all APs. It seems like I can manage, but I don't want to be overwhelmed and fail everything. I want to get some feedback from those who have taken the APs in the past and let me know if I'm setting up myself for failure. Here's what I have for next year, so far.</p>

AP World History
AP US Gov't and Politics
AP Microeconomics
AP Environmental Science
Cisco I-H
Cisco I-H
Advanced Algebra with Trigonometry-H</p>

<p>Originally, I was going to switch AP Environmental with Physics Honors, but my chem teacher said that the person who teaches physics doesn't really explain anything, and the students don't really learn much so when it comes to taking tests, he said that the students said that it's nearly impossible to answer some of the questions. Also, I had the AP Environmental teacher when I was a freshman, when I took Honors Earth & Space Science, and I averaged a 99% in that class. </p>

<p>Anyway, I just want some feedback on whether or not I can do well in all of the classes. I'd also like to know which APs are hard and which ones are really easy.</p>

<p>You are not actually taking tough AP’s believe it or not. AP English Lang is just like any other honors english class you may have had, it is not hard really. The actual AP test is a joke, I have seen previous tests and they do not require a full class to be understood. AP World history is not hard, it is just memorization like all history…and it requires a good deal of long and tedious word. AP US Gov’t falls under the same category. AP Microeconomics is fun, I guess I say that because I love economics, but still, it isn’t really hard. AP Env. Science is a joke, no college I have yet to see accepts it as credit. </p>

<p>You are not setting yourself up for failure because these classes will not kill you at all.</p>

<p>If you want hard APs Senior Year try:
Physics B or C
Calc BC
AP Chem
AP Art History</p>

<p>I think it will be very difficult but not impossible, it really depends on your work ethic. Seeing as you’re taking three social studies, perhaps you’ll drop one of them if you end up reconsidering? </p>

<p>Do you know what field you’re going into?</p>

<p>thanks for the replies. At my hs, they offer STI (science, tech, ind) programs to incoming freshmen. Cisco Networking Academy is one of them, which pretty much is about computers. As for what field I want to enter, I want to enter law, preferably corporate law, but want to get my undergrad in econ.</p>
