How do you change a class in your schedule? I just got back from preview and they wouldnt let me take the chem class i wanted b/c my ap scores havent arrived yet and i didnt take the placement exam. They put me into intro to chem instead of chem 2...and im really worried about not being able to switch classes. Also do freshmen skip calc 2? I wanted to but they were really against it when i went to the engineering seminar thing.

I’m not sure if it will let you do this yet, but go to ISIS, click on “Fall” under “Register Now”, then click “Search All Courses”, type in the one you want, and click “Add” on the section (time) you want. You may want to check which professor is teaching the course on the [Office of the University Registrar](http://registrar.ufl.edu/soc/201108/all/) page, and see what to expect on [University of Florida - Florida](http://www.ratemyprofessors.com/SelectTeacher.jsp?sid=1100) .

I know two kids that skipped Calc 2 (went straight to Calc 3) and they did fine. They were both successful in the course (they were both Math majors, however, indicating that they are likely both good at and enjoy math in the first place).

I doubt if they would let u change it now. There is a certain date freshmen can do it if it doesn’t let you. Also be sure to look at the drop/add date

According to the workbook they give you at Preview, if you need to change your fall schedule, you can do it on ISIS on 08/02-08/09, 08/11-08/19, or 08/22-08/26.

in the preview book there is an email you send a message to when your ap scores come in, telling them what class you want instead. They will place you in that class. you dont have to wait until the drop/add date if its just a matter of scores.

Do you mean we email them when we get the scores, or wait until they get the scores? For example, could I just call Collegeboard on July 1st to get my scores and then email UF about it?

RE Reporting AP Scores: Last month, I ordered (thru College Board) a copy of my 2008, 2009 and 2010 AP Score Reports sent to UF; and next month, I expect to order a copy of 2011 Score Report for UF. College Board charges $10 per report.

Page 18 of your preview book says in a big bold sentence. “If you need to adjust your Fall schedule before August 2nd because of placement or AP/IB/AICE credit issues, contact the Academic Advising Center (AAC) by email: previewadjust@advising.ufl.edu.” There is also a number you can call listed there. But I think it is once they get your scores. CB doesnt charge money for this years reports if you put UF as the school to receive the scores. I actually think the colleges get score reports before we get the physical copies in the mail. So keep checking your Test Scores on ISIS after July 1st.

Okay awesome! Thanks for all the information! I was really worried they wouldnt change my schedule…id feel so behind taking intro to chem when im going into engineering
