<p>I think, as an incoming freshman, you register for your classes at summer orientation. And you basically pick all your classes yourself.</p>
<p>You pick classes at summer orientation so the earlier you go to orientation the better classes you'll get. They give you a sheet that outlines breadth and major requirements and from there you're on your own. Just make sure to check ratemyprofessor before you register so you don't get stuck with a crappy professor.</p>
