Scheduling advice and whatnot

Hey guys, I'm a freshy and I started classes two days ago. The reason I'm posting is because I'm concerned that I'm taking one too many classes - whether I should drop one or gut it out. I have a total of 19 credit hours with 6 classes although 2 don't seem like classes. 1 is an introduction into the Uni (called 101) where you learn more about the school and college life and stuff, and the other class is a health class which ends in mid october. My other 4 classes are all 4 credit hour classes (Anthropology, Ethical Practice, American Gov, and Global Exp). I'm also in a program called SMART, and while that isn't time consuming, I'm going to get a job for work study. Also I have to maintain above a 3.0 gpa in all my classes, which is for a scholarship. I think this schedule is a little too burdensome, and I think I'm going to drop Ethical Practice, then it would be more manageable. Any thoughts?

Is this your first term? If yes, then I would drop. Test out the water first, if you can hack it, then up the courseload the next term.

If I were you I would definitely think about dropping a class. Can any of your four credit classes be taken another term?

I would drop the class. 19 hours plus a job and another commitment sounds like trouble, even if some classes aren't like traditional classes, because you're spending a lot of time in class.
