Scheduling conflict

I'm a rising senior, and my schedule conflicts so that I can't take AP Calc. I'm applying to a bunch of schools who require 4 years of math though...if I take a term of calculus at my local CC, will that count as "4 years"? Will colleges view it as okay?

Talk to or email your counselor, but if it’s an entire calculus course you should be fine.

Thanks a bunch  it’s math 241, or Elementary Calc 1. So we’ll see

Also, I’m wondering if this class would apply towards my HS GPA?

Yes, if it’s taken for high school credit.

If you take it for HS credit do you not get college credit? Or how does that work?

You always get college credit. You just pick whether you want a high school credit in addition to that. Some colleges won’t let you transfer your dual-enrollment credits if the classes were also taken for high-school credit. (Which is unfortunate for me because my high school doesn’t let you not take a class for high school credit.)
