Scheduling Conflicts. Please help me out!!

Hey, so it’s senior year and I’ve run into a little situation; I need help figuring out if I should change the sciences I have listed. Short background info: Want to go into UCs and pursue into the medical field.

I already took Medical Biology freshmen year, Honors Chemistry sophomore year, and AP Chemistry junior year. So for senior year, I’ve listed that I wanted to take AP Psych and Honors Physics, however, the problem is that I’ve kind of changed my mind over the months and I’ve decided that instead of taking those two, I’d take Honors Physiology.

Is that a smart move for someone who wants to be a doctor? Or should I just go with only Honors Physics? What’s more beneficial for UC universities?

Bottom line is that I just want to take only one science class this year and I’m stuck between taking Physics or Physiology. I respect all opinions and I just need some help and guidance. Thanks!

Regardless of UC’s a-g requirements, you need college physics for med school. Since it’s better to have some sort of background before taking in college (although not 100% necessary), I’d suggest physics over physiology.

You should take physics, colleges want to see at least a year each of chem, bio, and physics.
