Scheduling for sophomore year

Hi,
Currently in my freshman year, my current classes are as follows:
Honors English 9
Geometry
Psychology (semester)
Honors Chem 1 (semester)
Health (mandatory)
French II
Honors mod. American Hist.

For sophomore year, I have two possible paths, and I’m not sure what to choose. :
Honors English 10
Algebra II
AP Govt (semester)
AP Stats
Honors Economics (semester)
Honors biology
Honors Chem 2 (semester)
Honors chem 3 (would be taken after chem 2)
French III

The other option would be to not double up on math classes (not take AP stats) and take Journalism 1 & 2 in place of that (school newspaper)

Hopefully some of you can provide some insight on which path seems more doable, or if AP Stats is obsolete. Thanks!

Take Honors Algebra 2. Most enjoyable math class in my opinion (I haven’t taken Pre-Calc and above yet so…). Advanced math and sciences are important.

We don’t have that option at my school unfortunately.
