I will be a junior next year and need help working out a problem in my schedule. I currently attend a large public high school, so all APs you can generally think of are available. This is my current schedule for next year:
AP English
APUSH
AP Chem
MESA (accelerated engineering program at my school, must have)
Gym (scheduling in previous years was stupid, have to take it now or next year)
Jazz Band
Honors French 4

I don't have a math because I self-taught myself BC Calc (the highest my school has), and next year I will take Multivariable in the evening through another program. I am very interested in math and related sciences and would like to pursue those in the future, but as you can see, I am taking French instead of another science. I already took 3 years of Latin and 3 of French. I would feel bad dropping French, but I am still very conflicted whether to pursue a class such as AP CompSci or to stick with French. Thoughts? I want to take the most rigorous schedule possible, but I worry that my guidance counselor, already skeptical of a lack of math, will not realize I am taking a rigorous schedule. I don't know what to do? Help!
