Scheduling Help - Pre-Haas

My Tele-BEARS phase 1 appointment is coming up soon and I am still trying to figure out which classes to enroll in. As the subject line says, I'm pre-Haas, with econ as my back-up major as of now. I only have my international breadth left after this semester and have finished all of my pre-reqs for both Haas and econ after this semester. I'm not sure if I will double-major in econ if I get into Haas. Here's what I know so far about my spring schedule:

I plan to take an upper-div econ class for my last breadth (that way, it either counts as an econ elective if I choose econ as a major as well as, regardless of my major(s), my last breadth).

I also plan to take UGBA 103 because it is applicable to both majors (Haas core + approved "cross-over" econ elective).

As of now, I'd prefer to put off econ 100A (taking 100B now) because it is at 8AM with a bad professor (according to Ninjacourses).

Given that Haas classes are generally very difficult to get into for non-Haas students and that I'm not sure if I'd stick with econ if I got into Haas (and I'm not sure if my application for the econ major this semester will be processed in time for Phase 1), what would you recommend that I take (as well as Phase 1 vs. Phase 2)?

I take it you are going to be a 2nd semester Freshman?
Don’t take 103 or any other core biz req just yet.
You don’t want to compete with junior and senior Haas majors right now. The Haas curve has a lot of people… on edge… of killing the person next to them…

Not really, but if you are patient, maybe something will happen with the curve to make your gpa life easier. If you’re still bent on taking it next semester, good luck fighting off seasoned grade-wh*re veterans.

But if you’re going to be a 4th semester Sophomore, I’d support your decision to (try to) enroll.

I’m a 2nd semester sophomore. I am worried about the Haas curve, especially since grades do matter to some degree for Haas admissions for retaining conditional acceptances to the major.

Overall, though, how would you make the decision of what classes to take other than 103 (since it is both an econ elective and haas core) and an upper-div econ class (for breadth, regardless of major)? on top of that, if i were to phase 1 another haas class, which would you recommend choosing based on my chance of getting in?
