Scheduling help?

Hey CC! I'm just started my sophomore year of high school on Monday, and as of right now I have two math classes (Geometry and Algebra 2) scheduled. I've never been all that great at math, but I would like to go to Stanford and I know that they want to see calculus on a student's application. So that's why I was taking two this year...but now I'm not sure. I don't want to get a bad grade and have it bring my GPA down but I don't want to be "lacking" on my application either. If I just stuck with geometry this year I would be In pre-calculus my senior year. I'm also taking a bunch of APs but I'm not sure it that matters in this discussion or not. I'm just confused!

Thank you!

Can you take a math class over the summer or would you mind taking a math class over the summer?

No :frowning: I wouldn’t mind the work. At the end of freshman year my counselor and I searched for a summer geometry class since my school doesn’t offer it, and we couldn’t find any that the district would accept. Thanks for replying!
