Hi, I’m a rising junior and right now my schedule is:
AP Lang.
AP Physics C: Mech
AP Calc AB
Early Dismissal (There wasn’t a class that fit well here)
PLTW Biomedical Sciences (Double Block)
AP Chemistry
APUSH
My problem is that I never really wanted to take APUSH and due to scheduling issues this is how my schedule turned out. I’ve had the APUSH teacher for two years now and he is not good at all and we both know we dislike each other. Also, Biomed is a 4 class course and last year I took the first two and loved it so I chose that over Spanish 4 H but now I can change my schedule so I can take:
Same 4
Spanish 4H
US History H
Biomed
The thing is I took chemistry honors last year and found out I really like chemistry. The AP Chem teacher this year hasn’t taught it before so even if I don’t do well on the AP exam I don’t care because in college I want be on the premed track for sure and I probably won’t use the credit if I did well on the exam. My school is kind of competitive and I know I should do what I want to but I’m just not sure about not taking Chem (which I don’t think I’ll have room to take senior year) and also dropping down from 5 APs (which I know I could handle) to 3.
